In Ancient Greece, the Alchemists, whose symbol was the Caduceus of Hermes, used to create alloys by mixing mostly Mercury with different metal elements. A mixture like that was called "Amalgama". That was the inspiration behind the title of our 3rd album, describing our endeavour to adequately mix all the "metal elements" each of the new members of the band had brought and blend them with the Hard and Sleaze Rock legacy of Cyanide 4, undoubtedly creating the 'natural evolution' of Nekyia! Cyanide 4 is a Hard Rock/Glam Metal band formed in Athens, Greece back in 2008 mixing their influences varying from the Los Angeles’ 80s glam era to the new rock ‘n’ roll wave of Scandinavian bands of our days. The band, quickly built a strong fan-base in Greece and abroad by releasing 2 albums by Perris Records (USA) and doing many live shows, both headlining and as a support act to acclaimed artists, like the Scorpions, Bonfire, W.A.S.P., Lizzy Borden, Crashdiet, Over The Rainbow, Ten, etc.

In 2017 Perris Records has released CYANIDE 4 "Nekyia" CD their follow up from the “Everyday Is A Masquerade” release. The "Nekyia" release has 10 new studio tracks featuring their first two videos "Rock & Roll Hero" & "Getaway". The band will appear across Europe with many shows starting in Greece in February. Created in 2008, Cyanide 4 quickly built a strong fanbase in Greece and abroad, which longs for the 80s glam era of Los Angeles and looks admirably to the new rock n roll wave of the Scandinavian peninsula. Adding their own personal element, Sinn, Slut, Nasty and Tony know their stuff and are making their way step by step towards the music pantheon where endless nights, drinks, rage and love are no obstacles.The band has shown their talent on the Radio Arvyla TV show and performing as the opening act of Lizzy Borden, Scorpions (in Xanthi and Thessaloniki), Crashdiet and W.A.S.P., they are labelled as one of the most promising sleaze bands of Greece.
